Five years designing and shipping conversational AI end-to-end: dialogue design, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and three systems deployed with real users. Comfortable owning a problem from the first study to the thing running in production.
Experience
Conversational AI platform, SFI adult education
Designed and shipped a multi-turn conversational system into Stockholm SFI classrooms — Gemini and GPT-4.5 driving dialogue, a Furhat robot as the physical interface, over Socket.IO to a React/TypeScript and Flask platform (~35 REST endpoints) on Docker and nginx. Wrote the prompt set and the evaluation rubric; ran the classroom pilot with real teachers and adult learners.
Doctoral Researcher
Designed and evaluated conversational personas — child vs. adult characters, monolingual vs. bilingual companions — measuring how each changed what people learned. Published at HRI, IVA and CogSci.
